Your account
An account is an email address, an optional display name, and an optional password (stored only as a hash). Signing in with Google or Discord stores the provider's account identifier and, when the provider shares it, the verified email address, so the same account can be found next time. Sessions are kept for seven days; you can see and end them under Account settings.
Combat logs
An uploaded combat log is stored as the file you sent and as the events parsed from it. The file is kept for one year so the report can be rebuilt when the analysis improves; after that the file is deleted, and the report, parses, and rankings built from it stay. A log is private unless you make it public: a private log and its report are visible to you and to administrators only; a public log's report, parses, and the character names in it are visible to everyone and feed the public rankings, profiles, and guild pages. Character names in a combat log are the names shown in the game; they are not linked to the account of the player who uses them.
Rankings and integrity
Only public, successful, non-duplicate kills rank. Uploaded logs are checked for signs of editing before they rank; a kill that fails a check is held for an administrator's review, and the report says so.
Deleting your data
Deleting your account (Account settings › Delete account) signs you out everywhere, removes linked sign-in providers, and permanently replaces your email, display name, and password with placeholders. Every log you uploaded is deleted with its file, reports, and scores; rankings that included them are recomputed. Your guild memberships end: a guild you own passes to its longest-standing active member, or is disbanded when none remains. Game-character data that appears in other people's public logs stays, because it is not linked to your account.
Operational data
Server logs record requests and background jobs with internal identifiers for a limited time to keep the service running and to investigate abuse; they never contain your email, session tokens, or the contents of a combat log. The site sets a session cookie and a theme cookie and uses no third-party analytics. Item and spell tooltips load from Wowhead when you hover a link; that request goes to Wowhead's servers.
